The marketplace we wanted ourselves
Bazigo grew out of our own experience with other marketplaces. We wanted a place where second-hand goods are bought and sold clearly, cheaply and safely – and where people treat each other fairly.
How it started
For years we bought and sold on all kinds of marketplaces. Cluttered listings, fees you only find out about at the end, your phone number visible to everyone and the uncertainty of whether anything will arrive for the money you sent.
Instead of complaining, we decided to build our own marketplace. One where it is clear at first glance what everything costs, where money never goes to a stranger in advance and where reviews come from real deals.
We worked on Bazigo for four years, in the evenings and at weekends, putting in every lesson we had learned on other marketplaces. The result is a Czech and Slovak marketplace we would want to buy on ourselves.
